I specialize in capturing large groups (8+ people) with a relaxed, organized approach. Think of it as having the high-end, formal portraits you usually only get at a wedding—but without the tight timeline, the uncomfortable shoes, or the rush to get to a reception.
A Multi-Generational session is like a beautiful jigsaw puzzle. We don't just stand in one big line for an hour; we break the session down into "mini-stories" to ensure everyone gets what they need:
The Full Legacy: The "hero" shot of every single family member together.
The Original Roots: Grandma and Grandad with all their children and grandchildren.
The Couples: Just the grandparents, and each individual couple.
The Cousins: All the grandchildren together (usually the loudest and funnest part of the day!).
The Mini-Families: A quick "Keepsake" update for each individual sibling’s family unit.
We’ve all been at weddings where the "group photos" feel like a chore. I do things differently.
We Take Our Time: We have up to 2 hours. If a toddler needs a snack or a grandparent needs to sit down for a moment, we pause. There is no "next event" to rush to.
I Lead the Way: With so many people, you need a director. I bring the energy and clear guidance to ensure everyone knows where to go and what to do, keeping the atmosphere light and joyful.
Authentic Connection: While we definitely get those "looking at the camera" portraits for the mantlepiece, I also capture the candid moments—the way Grandad looks at the newest baby, or the cousins whispering jokes in the back row.
Due to the scale and coordination of large groups, I offer this exclusively as an Extended Storyteller experience. This ensures you aren't forced to choose between the big group shot and the individual family portraits—you get them all.
